|ThumbHTML v2.9 - Drop-Shadows|
Creating Drop-ShadowsSuitable use of drop-shadows can considerably enhance the appearance of your web-based photo albums.
The program allows you to do this by checking the appropriate box, and selecting a suitable blur level. You can also select an 'offset' - this is the number of pixels by which the shadow is displaced from the main image. Unless you want a 'sharp' shadow, you will need to blur it - the suggested figure is 75%. The colour used for the background of the shadowed image will be that selected from the colours tab for the background of the HTML pages. This is so that the shadowed image will look 'right' on the web page. Since only the thumb and main images are shown on web page backgrounds, it is not therefore advisable to create drop-shadows on any other resized images unless you are doing so for a particular purpose!
