Adding and Editing Picture Comments

It is easy to modify picture comments in ThumbHTML. Simply select this item from the Tools menu, and use the editor - it's very self-explanatory. The main editor window looks like this..

When you click 'Done', a file called Picinfo.txt is saved to the current folder. It's a simple text file, so once created, you can edit it outside ThumbHTML if you wish. Here is an example ..

Note that you can enable/disable HTML in comments via the options dialog.

Also, certain characters will be HTML-encoded. At present, this includes:
  • & (&amp)
  • " (")
  • £ (£)
  • € (€)
You can edit this list yourself (follow the link from the options dialog, or edit HTML_entities.txt in the ThumbHTML folder).
